Default Flood alert over Warwickshire tomorrow.

Warwickshire looks set for hours of heavy rain tomorrow - prompting the Met Office to issue a yellow weather warning.

The warning for rain covers all of Warwickshire, most of England and a section of Wales.

For Warwickshire, the warning is in effect from just before 10am tomorrow, September 24, until just after 7pm that evening.

For the Leamington and Rugby areas, heavy showers are expected through the early hours up until around 2pm before becoming less severe and continuing until around 7pm.

Yes, it looks a little nasty.

Incidentally, I use this school website for the weather (Bablake). In general I find it fairly accurate.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

I finished work just after the rain started - it was a very quick dash to the car!

I walked the dog about 6:00, got soaked through. Dog sat waiting patiently for a towel down afterwards having given herself a good shake by the door. - I'm getting there with her training!

I got half drowned this morning, Lex. It was bucketing down when I walked the dog (8:30 ish). I'd just got changed when my brother rang asking me to help with mum. By the time I was back, you wouldn't know it had rained. The cat and dog were both spark out on the bed with Mrs R.

I spent the afternoon on the canalside patio of the local pub, I must say, it was quite pleasant.

I think we are in for a battering before Christmas.

The flooding is only going to get worse as we continue building. In many quarters this simply hasn't sunk in.

....plus traffic is going to get worse in our towns with all the building that is going on, its getting dangerous crossing roads and on the pavement cyclists have no lights at night, they just whizz past and don't give a care.

Got another call of the Environment Agency last night - a flood warning has been issued for my area.

I think it might have been a precautionary thing (ie. 'we told you, so you can't sue us'!), no flood water came anywhere my place, thankfully.
