I just about remember the tail end of it when I was very young.

Time flies. He was ahead of his time and (IMO) very underrated. I remember my dad ranting and raving about him, his words were most un PC.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

A band I've never come across, Rebbonk; they sound pretty good.

This song came into my head today. Its ancient.

“I doubt sometimes whether a quiet and unagitated life would have suited me - yet I sometimes long for it.”

    - Lord Byron.

Not that ancient, Margaret. I remember it well. Kraftwerk were Dutch IIRC? - Just checked, they were German.

Lex, Marmalade were a pretty decent group I remember them from my early years at school. From memory, their biggest hit was Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da which Lennon and McCartney wrote.

Another Marmalade song that for some reason I knew as 'yesterday man'...

Daughter came round yesterday to see that I was OK. I'd got a CD on of typical 60s psychedelic music. She thought it was great, and that's a child of the 90s/2000s.

Yeah Rebbonk, I was exaggerating a bit when I said Kraftwerk were ancient, but I like their music, from the 70s era and that to me seems a long way back. My pop era was 60's to mid 70's really, loads of good music back then, but music taste changes overtime. Now I'm a fogey I like classical stuff, though I still like to hear old pop and classical. I think the only music genre that I dislike is Jazz, it always seems so disjointed.

I'm not sure I like all classical pieces turned into rock guitar music, but this is special, she displays brilliant mastery over her instrument, reminds me of Jimi Hendrix.
