Nothing to do with the person behind the wheel driving like an idiot
In almost 50 years of motoring, I have aquaplaned once. - It was my fault, I was going too fast. Thankfully, I walked away, no damage to anyone or anything, but it was a salutary lesson for a 19 year old with a very fast and powerful car.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
