Well, by the looks of things I hope Brexit is now grinding to a halt with a NO DEAL.

May is clearly unhinged. That press conference last night was embarrassing, to say the least. Her days are now surely numbered.
The EU have played an interesting card: we accept May's deal or we are ejected without a deal on the 29th. I guess they're hoping that May's deal will be accepted by Parliament with such a threat. - They, like May may well have misjudged the situation.
Sadly, I can actually see article 50 being revoked. - If this does happen, the illusion of democracy in this country will be over.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time at Westminster. At least they can have a good joke, but Corbyn of course remained stone faced.
May has to go. The woman is way below useless and a national embarrassment.

It looks as though we are legally free to leave the EU tomorrow. 29th.
I'm not sure that we are Margaret. I believe that May has accepted (possibly contrary to UK law, according to Bill Cash) an agreement from the EU that binds us for a little longer.
May's bringing her "deal" back to parliament tomorrow, I expect her to get trounced again.
The sooner we are rid of this troublesome woman the better. Unfortunately, I think she's set women's rights, etc. back many years.

No wonder the state of politics and the whole country is a total shambolic mess. It is all very despairing and not doing the country's morale any good. That's how I feel anyway, because it is all so depressing I have switched off from listening to it all.

The whole thing is an absolute shambles.
The fact that we could crash out next week with no real preparations is absolutely scandalous.
We really need a much better class of politicians

The shambles worsens: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48395905
I think we need to await Monday's results from the EU elections and then reassess. The EU may have far bigger problems looming.

One of the main reasons I voted 'out' was the EU's habit of lurching between crises.
I wouldn't be at all surprised that come Monday the EU will be aghast at the election results.
As such they will embark on a mission of change. Seeing this change our new PM will suggest holding on for a brief while whilst things settle. Surface change will be visible, so the new PM will run another referendum. The people of the UK will have seen the slight change and will now vote to stay!

Another trade deal signed, the UK's getting there slowly: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-48577667
I like Boris's idea of telling the EU to stuff their bill where the sun don't shine, unless we get a better deal. Sadly though, I think it's all bluff and bluster without an ounce of substance.
