I thought that was already covered via council tax?Proposals to charge residents for green bin collections are still up for consideration
Incidentally, you may have missed that our wonderful government has given approval to raise council tax by 6% over two years, at the same time it approved giving itself yet another rise.
Charges for green bin collections have been introduced; a sneeky way to bypass limits on council tax increases: http://www.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/new...oday-1-7894791
Looks like our green bin collection is still on going in our area up to the 25th of May.
As far as I know, charging for green bin collection hasn't been mooted in the Stratford area yet, but Rugby's probably given them the idea now!
Thankfully, it won't affect me if Stratford District Council do decide to introduce charges - all my green waste goes on my compost heap.
