    Default The Chilcot Report

The report on the 2003 Iraq War has finally been released. It hasn't told us much we didn't already know, and Tony Blah has naturally tried to slime his way out of any blame. At least Jeremy Corbyn had the decency to apologise on behalf of the Labour party.

It wasn't quite the whitewash I was expecting. But as you say, it didn't tell us anything we didn't know. I still feel that Blair (and Bush) ought face the courts for starting an illegal war, but it'll never happen.

I've noticed Blair becoming more visible on the UK political scene over the last few weeks, I pray that he's never allowed anywhere near Parliament again.

Blair'll never face trial - he was the leader of a major western power. It's a similar principle to the rich always getting away with misdemeanours.
