I drink in Stratford Alehouse quite a bit, and always get a good beer: http://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news/...-warwickshire/

I used to like the Red Lion at Hunningham and The Case is Altered at 5 ways
Another favourite of mine is The Castle at Edge Hill, and The Rose & Crown just down the road in Ratley is also a great pub.
Warwickshire Pubs that I have enjoyed going to over the years are:
Red Lion, Hunningham.
Red Lion, Northend.
Bell Inn, Ladbroke.
The Leopard, Bishops Tachbrook.
Durham Ox, Shrewley.
The Antelope Inn, Lighthorne Heath.
The Stag, Offchurch.
Cottage Tavern, Ashorne.
If you get the chance, the Greyhound at Sutton Stop is worth a visit.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
The Leopard's a nice pub, AMP, I've been there a couple of times.
More Warwickshire pubs that I have enjoyed visiting are:
The Crown Inn, Southam
The Crown Inn, Claverdon
The Windmill Inn, Leamington Spa.
Ones that I miss:
Bear in the Spa, Whitnash. It has since reverted back to the former name,"The Heathcote" and it is still good.
The Racehorse, Warwick .It has now been taken over under new management as its street number only,"Number 34". I preferred this Pub as it was. Don't get me wrong it is all tastefully done and you may like the menu however it seems to have gone a bit too high end with its fancy menu dishes as I preferred the old Racehorse menu personally.
I was talking to a young lady yesterday who is thinking about taking on a village pub. Bouncing ideas around, she said that she would gut it and create a completely new ambience. I did try to suggest caution, as the pub we were in had done this a few years back and had thrown out and destroyed a lot of irreplaceable history.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
