Student Accommodation for Kenilworth

Bizarrely, I was talking about this subject with a friend a few weeks ago. We were discussing the fact that the improved transport links with Coventry (ie the train station) could attract more students to Kenilworth: http://www.warwickcourier.co.uk/news...uare-1-7014605

I really wonder if this is a good idea?

Coventry is busy converting and building for students, it seems to me that we're putting all our eggs in one basket. I also wonder how students are expected to afford these places, or if they will want to, when there are houses of multiple occupancy available locally at far better rates?
