I must admit, I find this to be a little perverse. The city is cutting 'essential' services and closing things down, yet it sees fit to fund this?

I can't help thinking that priorities are a little 'skewed'.

Sadly, it means nothing to me. The Beatles and the Stones are far more my era

They were fairly big in the 1990s, but disappeared into obscurity years ago.

A very successful weekend, but the festival's future is still in doubt: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/wha...ority-11569009

When you read of cuts that CCC are proposing, you must seriously question them continuing to fund this.

Personally, I wouldn't mind paying, especially with some of the big acts the festival has.

Scandalous when you look at what this inept council has inflicted on those needing support and care.

The £300,000 definitely could be spent more effectively.

I'm getting old, I don't know most of the acts at this year's festival: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/ne...ineup-14986500
