Looks like Coventry City could be groundless again in the near future: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/new...logue-11773386
Sadly, they are the architects of their own destruction. Seriously, would you deal with them? -I know I wouldn't
They do seem to attract a lot of problems.
A change of ownership could be on the books: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39659685
This troubles me greatly. Just how much is this consortium going to spend buying a tarnished name with very few tangible assets? The figures I've read about are eye-watering.
Unless they have a very good plan it might be a case of 'out of the frying pan, and into the fire'.
An interview by one of the bidders. What's in it for him if he's not in it to make money?

You are only ever in business to make money. If this consortium claim not to be in it for the actual money, are they looking at it for tax loss purposes? - OK it's still money, but perhaps not quite so directly. What's in it for him if he's not in it to make money?
I really don't believe in philanthropy or altruism these days.
A kick in the whatsits for Sisu: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/new...wners-13376068
I just love the way that their legal representation keeps on pushing for yet more appeals after he's lost cases. - Money for old rope!
Sadly though, I suspect that all the money will be coming from the football club one way or another.
Things aren't going well for the takeover plans: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/new...evans-14128150
SISU are unlikely to let the club go until they've exhausted their little legal game. Once that game is over, and hopefully lost, my bet is that they will cut and run.
At present the club is generating just enough positive cash-flow: should that be reversed (not one penny more campaign) then it is possible that they may bail out earlier, but that will weaken their legal case.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
A short term stay of execution for the club, but not ideal: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43007223
I only hope Wasps get the money upfront.
