Well, after last night's indulgence (it was rather nice!) I've decided on easy comfort food tonight. Jacket potatoes, bacon and baked beans.

Yet more comfort food tonight... Beef casserole and dumplings. - There will be enough left for another night, likely Sunday.

M&S' Dine in for Two; Oakham Chicken, Garlic stuffed mushrooms, Belgian Chocolate pudding with a bottle of wine. I'll do my garlic, celery salt and cayenne pepper roast potatoes with green beans to add to it.

I'm looking forward to dining out with friends tonight. Our favourite restaurant closed , so we are trying another Italian one out.

Fish, potatoes, peas and parsley sauce tonight. - Yet again, I'm cooking. I spoil that woman, I really do!

Last night's re-heated beef casserole was a treat.

Himmel und Erde (Heaven and Earth) tonight.

Potato, Apple, Onion and Belly Pork. An old German recipe that just melts in the mouth. I really do spoil her don't I?

Lovely combination- is this a slow pot roast casserole, Rebbonk? I'm doing beef in red wine, button mushrooms and shallots all slow casseroled with bay leaves and herbs served with mashed potatoes and cabbage.

Yes Gladys. It all goes together in a slow oven for a couple of hours. (I'll likely par-boil the potatoes to ensure they're cooked properly.)

Just been out for a curry. A good night until it came to sorting the bill out - why's it always such a pain in the backaide?

I'm going to make Penne pasta today. It'll be my own concoction with onions, peppers, and toms.

Sounds good, both. I had pizza tonight, and am contemplating shin of beef for the weekend.
