    We had chicken salad.

Tomorrow is 'sticky' chicken with fries. - I'm looking forward to this as it's a new one for me.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Last night we had a Tesco special Chinese. Not bad to be honest and it had been on special offer.

Tonight is spare ribs (with plum sauce) and fries.

Chicken & home-grown veg for me tonight, followed by crumble made using my first harvest of apples.

Not had a crumble for ages. Maybe do one next week?

Tonight is Kievs, salad and fries.

Tomorrow is good old fashioned egg and chips, which is good because I intend spending the afternoon in the pub!

Mmm, I haven't had egg and chips for a long time, I'll have beans as well though.

I've spent the afternoon in the local pub, much to Mrs R's disgust. However, I did prepare a chilli before I went out. I only rice to do tonight.

Tomorrow I'm doing a potato and onion pie for myself, the good lady is sorting something for herself. - No doubt that will be an expensive M&S meal for one!

That potato and onion pie was absolutely lovely. Mrs R got herself a couple of breaded chicken fillets and did some chips. She wished she'd had some of my pie.

Last night we had Tesco chicken and bacon pie. Not impressed, it was very watery inside. Next time I'll make my own pie.

Roast chicken for the next couple of days, Kentucky style chicken and salad tonight.

I made a pot of lovely stew yesterday, with enough left over for today.

Having planned to spend yesterday afternoon in the local hostelry I dropped a couple of pieces of braising steak and a mountain of onions in the slow-cooker before going out. - Was very pleasant just after 8:00 last night.

Tonight, Mrs R is cooking. We had planned on sausages, chips and beans: but Mrs R is thinking of changing this as she's 'gone off' sausages.

Quick & easy for me tonight - pasta, fried salami, mixed Italian herbs & olive oil.

Mrs R came swinging back from Tesco with... Sausages! Oh, they were better than the ones I'd bought.

Having just eaten them, I have to say that they were not much cop. But the smile on my face was when Mrs R quietly slipped the dog most of her sausages. She eventually admitted that they weren't up to much and that she wished she'd left well alone and had the sausages I'd bought! - She will, in a casserole next week!

Quick change of mind for tonight and we've settled on mince and chips. - A childhood favourite.
