Haddock, but no chips. Sweet potato and veg instead. I miss me chips, though I have to be careful with the old cholesterol.

I've got some bread I need to use up, so I'll likely make a light meal of cheese on toast or bananas on toast today. Jacket spuds for tomorrow.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Ho, I miss grilled cheese on toast with beans, mmmmmmmmm!

I think someone on here doesn't like beans, or maybe I'm mistaken.

For some reason, I've just had a yearning for cornflake and jam tart. So. I've just added the ingredients to my next Tesco order.

    My quirky eating habits include......

I like the crispy cornflake chocolate cakes.

And Jammy Dodgers dunked in my tea!

Not had those chocolate cornflake cakes for ages. I might make a few if I've any cornflakes left.

Just couldn't be bothered tonight, so a couple of part-baked baguettes, stuffed with chips. - Loverly!

    So you should spoil yourself!

I made a sort of Spanish Omelette , very nice with the usual peas and carrots on the side.

Ice-cream and pears for afters. Not often we have ice-creamo!

I did sauerkraut, kielbasa, mash, and peas last night. Tonight I finished it off in a baguette.

I've got some potatoes that I need to use up, so tomorrow I'll do a potato and onion pie. I've also a few eggs I need to use, so I feel Yorkshire puds coming on for the weekend.

Cold Turkey today, with lots of veg. Roast parsnips, shallots, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, and broccoli.

    No room for pud!

Do you like tomatoes with it, rebbonk?

I do, Margaret. Tinned plum tomatoes or fresh ones if I'm doing a BLT. Problem is, tomatoes don't like me and I have to watch how many I eat as they can aggravate the old gout.

I think I fancy pastie and chips for this evening.

I wonder if the tinned tomatoes are less acidy than the fresh.

Today we had , salmon chips, and peas. And chocolate muffins.
