Had a potato topped chilli tonight. - It was very nice.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Dark chocolate coated ice-cream. Just for a change.

I know a good recipe for (warm) chocolate sauce (per person) that goes well with ice cream:

    Knob of butter
    Couple of drops of water
2-3 desert spoons of golden syrup
3-4 desert spoons of cocoa powder

Melt the butter & syrup together with the drops of water until they've combined
Add the cocoa powder a spoon at a time, making sure the powder is mixed in thoroughly before adding the next
    Pour over ice cream!

Daughter left late last night, so I just microwaved a couple of frozen omelettes.

I've done a potato and onion pie for the next couple of days.

I'm finding things a little difficult at the moment. Cooking for two was often difficult but cooking for one, if you don't want the same meal all week, is even more difficult.

So tonight (and tomorrow) it's going to be sausage sandwiches, followed by jelly and fruit. And yes, I'm well aware of the irony that I'll be eating whilst watching Rick Stein.

I intended doing hot dog sausages and cheese, wrapped in a self baked croissant. I forgot the dough when shopping so just had hot dogs in normal rolls.

Salad for the rest of the week. I'm cooking ham in coke to go with it.
