Thought I'd revive this thread! One restaurant I've been really impressed with recently is Baraset Barn. It's a couple of miles out of Stratford, and you always get a really warm welcome. The food is superb, and is definately worth the pound or 2 extra you pay; however, the Baraset also does a fixed-price menu Monday-Friday which is every bit as good and is about £14.50 for 2 courses.

Lovely Pubs, the company that owns Baraset, has recently taken over The Moat House at Coughton (as in Coughton Court near Alcester). It's a very different atmosphere to Baraset, but every bit as good - definately worth going to.Originally Posted by Lex
