Default Sewerage Pipe leak/Flooded Gardens/Bad Smell

I'm surprised the residents noticed any difference from yesterday: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp8nj6gjqdqo

I used to live near there. Blackberry Lane is relatively high ground but the area does seem to have had issues recently. A sinkhole swallowed a car on Sewell Highway, which runs downwards from Blackberry Lane. I wonder if we're reaping years of ST not doing a very good job on maintenance?
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Surely not. The water companies spend millions investing in infrastructure every year, often at the cost if dividends.
