Poor young woman lost her life when she was attacked by her pet dog. I could never understand how a pet can suddenly turn on its owner.

A very sad state of affairs. Apparently, the lady who lost her life was known to a couple of my friends.

The thing to remember here is that these are animals. Many are very big, fast and incredibly strong. Too many people forget that and treat them like humans or substitute children.

I've had animals all my life and have only been bitten once. Truth be told, that one bite was my own fault and the dog was not punished in any way.

I currently have a rather small cat. She loves being stroked and cuddled, but I'm always watching for signs that she's had enough. Small as she is, her claws are very sharp and she's very quick.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
