    Default D-Day 80th Anniversary

A very poignant day. I attend my local event this evening; fascinating to hear about the experiences of prople there on the day: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn44ed7yelzo

I saw the Froggies demanded passports as the RAF staged a re-enactment with paratroops. - Shame they hadn't as much bottle with the Germans 80 years ago!

Sunak has reduced his rapidly dwindling credibility by not attending a remembrance service.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

I heard that as well - thought it was a joke!

Sunak hasn't done himself any favours.
