Sadness as Stratford River Festival is 'postponed'

Stratford River Festival was expected to take place from July 5 to 7 but has been 'postponed'

A well-known festival in Stratford-upon-Avon has been 'postponed'. The Stratford River Festival 2024 was expected to return this year after a four-year hiatus but will now not go ahead.

New dates still have not been confirmed. Organisers of the festival say the event was not able to go ahead due to 'unforeseeable operational and timing constraints'.

The event was due to take place from Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7. The River Festival attracts thousands of people every year to the recreation ground parallel to the River Avon.
