You can reduce operating costs, but the golden rule is not to do anything that the average customer will notice. Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to have sunk in to many of our larger companies!
Rover Group removed electric mirrors from the driver's door after some bright spark (high management) decided that because he didn't use his, nobody else would. - Lots of sales lost, idiot instigator promoted higher up in the hope he could do no more damage!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
