    Default Flooding

There's flooding all over the place, and the usual few people who've had to be rescued from the water: https://stratfordobserver.co.uk/news...-floods-47744/

The reason we are flooding so much is not down to the weather but down to p*ss poor planning by the local authorities.

Too many people, too much over-development... I could go on, but why bother...?
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Looks like we're in for a bit of proper winter over the next few days - the forecast's for cold & dry weather.

    Cue moaning about energy prices.

We are being bled dry, price gouged and any other expression you care to use, by big business, aided and abetted by this corrupt and dishonest government.

I'm not saying Starmer would be any better...

If the weather forecast don't warn us about flooding or high winds or an impending heatwave, they get criticised. So it damned if they do or damned if they don't warn us, its a no win situation. So they just cover their @sses.
Same with schools in the winter months ,as soon as the temperature dips or see a few snowflakes , they close the schools, as the Headteacher gets it in the neck if kids get cold or freeze to death! So they schools are covering their assets too. Can't blame them.
