Out of interest, what is the history of the name Sherbourne as in the Park/Road etc? I know names have changed over the years/decades/centuries but was simply curious as to the origins of Sherbourne as in the name that they wish to change.
Cool
I've just done a quick google search, but couldn't turn anything up.
Sherbourne means a 'bright stream'
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
I tried the Google search too and when nothing turned up I thought, maybe, just maybe, someone might know so thought I would ask the question. Thank you for searching.
Cool
Ahhh... I like that. Reminds me of one of the harbours in Auckland, NZ. Waitemata Harbour which has a few translations including 'sparkling waters' because the water is said to glint like volcanic glass obsidian. Having been there many times and gone fishing there I can verify that is exactly as it is, moreso when the sun is shining.
