    Lightbulb D.I.Y. Chat.

Maybe its a good idea to have some 'DIY tips, for anyone doing some renovating jobs around the home.. In my case , cleaning kitchen cabinet cupboards, especially the ones beneath the sink and work areas.
I recently have had a new kitchen worktop and sink installed, which looks good and modern. Now the next thing is the wood cupboards beneath the worktop need a good cleaning and maybe painting over to match the new worktop . What is a good cleaner for cupboard doors, get the grease off? And do I use a primer before I paint the wood?

    Thanks. M.

I use bleach diluted in warm water to clean my kitchen - it deals with most muck.

Bleach is good, but is it good on wood ?
I was also wondering if sugar soap would do?

My worktops are vaneer on chipboard, and bleach works well.
