    Not one for me.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

It's not for everyone, but the genre is what got me into reading.

Interesting, Lex. Comics (Dandy, Beano) got me into reading, followed by science fiction (Wells, Clarke, Verne, etc.), and then the likes of MR James. I still read a lot today.

In Scotland we had a comic called , The Broons, which came out every Saturday with the news paper. That got me reading, and we had a small local library I used to go there and get my secret 7 books.. Oh the memories.
Once I borrowed a book that was way over my head, but I thought I would give it a bash as the subject interested me .
It was by Noam Chomsky. I think it was about life and psychology, I can't remember much, a I didn't get far with it.
“I doubt sometimes whether a quiet and unagitated life would have suited me - yet I sometimes long for it.”

    - Lord Byron.
