Shoe boxes.. When the only way to fit a double bed in the only room of a 1 bedroom flat is up against a wall then the room is too small. When I first moved into my shoebox that was the only way to place the bed, so, when I had the redecorating done I went for a small double and can walk around it. Me being pernickety I guess, I don't like climbing over the bed to tuck the other side in.
