“I doubt sometimes whether a quiet and unagitated life would have suited me - yet I sometimes long for it.”
- Lord Byron.
They can have some of Stratford's visitors. I haven't been into town recently, but the whole place has been gridlocked for the last 2 weekends, apparently.
I can't see people using public transport now that they've scared everyone witless about covid/masks/etc. The law of unintended consequences springs to mind.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
'Panic sells papers'.
I'm also fed up of adverts telling me I'm going to die, and I'd better get some life insurance & book my funeral.
Quite true, Lex. I remember years ago, a newspaper sprang up only carrying good news. - It didn't last long!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
I regularly get insurance stuff for those in the older age group pressuring to take out insurance or more insurance for our loved ones, funerals etc and often partly filled out. I get so fed up with them it goes into the shredder.
Cool
My children ended up reporting their mother's funeral director to their governing body after they cremated her with a ring on that my daughter had specifically asked to be returned. The body awarded the full cost of the funeral to be returned, plus £500 compensation.
They are still waiting on the coroner for a ruling on the cause of death 4 months on!
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.
