    Default Outdoor Theatre for RSC

I am totally aghast at this horrendous eyesore of a plan .

Its not enough that they have destroyed the Bancroft Gardens, they are now about to ruin the open grassy area at the back of the theatre along side the river!

The specially-built performance space occupies the stretch of gardens immediately behind the Swan Theatre, flanked by the River Avon,

The RSC's got to spent their government bailout on something! It is happening - the theatre has been planning it for a while.

    I can't look at it!

They have two other theatres and never full.

From Experience Outdoor theatres don't tend to work in this country as it rains a lot in summer, and can get quite cool in the evenings. This project is going to take up all the grassy area where where folks used to sit or play games. The ruination is now complete as far as I'm concerned ! I used support the RSC in the past, but no longer.
