    Default Getting rid of AVG

I have spent far too long trying to uninstall AVG and all of its components, I seem to have got rid of the main AVG antivirus scanner, but there must be more components hidden somewhere, on my computer and I can't find it. Therefore I am unable to re install AVG. Damn annoying.

Its ok, I've managed to sort it out somewhat.

I used to use AVG, I found it very good until it started to get too clever for itself and slowed my computer down. I now use AVAST.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

    Bingo!
I just installed Avast too. It seems fine . Got rid of annoying malware.

It's very good, Margaret. I had the 'pro' version for a while but the free one does everything most people need.

Yes, I think shall stay with the free version. It does the job.
