Default Thorntons to Close All of its Shops

Another retailer disappears from the High Street. However, Thorntons will continue online: https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/ne...aming-20172545

I certainly didn't see that one coming.
Of course it'll fit, you just need a bigger hammer.

Their fortunes seem to have gone up & down over the years; apart from the lockdown, I thought they were doing reasonably well nowadays.

I thought Thorntons were holding their own. I liked there selection of chocolates, especially birthday and Christmas presents. All very sad really.

    I really dislike shopping online.

I've gotten used to it, Margaret. So much so, that I've SORNED the car. For £3 a fortnight I can get my groceries picked delivered without the aggravation of fighting my way around Tesco. Anything else I want I seem to be able to pick up from Amazon.
