Protectionism rarely works long term.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm rapidly losing faith in our PM: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-54566897
I'm afraid I never had any faith in him. The man is a buffoon of the first order and a proven liar. That he was the best that the Tory party had to offer speaks volumes about their membership. - And please, don't get me started on the other lot!
I'm no big fan of Boris either, but he seems to think he can steer the UK in the right direction.
I haven't given up clinging on to hope yet. Better this lot than the opposition.
Labour don't seem to have any answers at all. At least Comrade Corbyn's gone.

You can often tell a project is failing when those running it jump ship towards it scheduled conclusion. I've seen it happen several times over the years.
A slight bit of exaggeration on the part of the BBC (ONE ship's been diverted), but a hint of what we can expect from January onwards: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-54908129
We are about to be stuffed, big time.Quote:
...increased shipping prices will be passed on to consumers.
!This is what we are doing...." comes across loud and clear but it is what is behind the smokescreens that we should be concerned about.
Good to see negotiations are going well: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-55248502
I reckon we're about to take a damned good shafting. I smell BRINO.
