Shout

Shout! Shout! then shout some more,
as men strive to settle score,
two faced Tooly elbows in,
departing from his rubbish bin.

Claiming style, panache and dash,
then churning out ambiguous trash,
arsehole creeping round the flock,
holy spirits his selling stock.

Four thousand years of hope and pray,
murder, mayhem, kill, and slay,
silken dalliance the elders wear,
as choir boys bottoms they lay bare.

Tooly belongs to this two faced lot,
mature minds would have them shot,
Inquisition, burn, and tears,
Millions slaughtered o'er the years.

Believe in god or thou shall die,
he gives the orders from on high,
ask the pope's his reps on earth.

surely you cannot be saying all people with faith are paedophiles? The crimes commited were covered up by parts of the catholic church, and now they are slowly being bought to book. that was a terrible thing to do, more so when it was done by people who should be above reproach, but you cannot seriously think it was done in the name of God, or with the approval of any part of the catholic hiearchy. If you really have to stir up all this, can you at least do it with childish remarks about bottoms?

This forum is very tolerant and allows much scope for discussion and indeed differences of opinion, but, Jobee, more religion bashing? You keep returning to it, why? Do you feel there is a message to impart to the world to scare them away from religions? Let every person make their own choice, you are banging from the pulpit that benefits no one and we have seen quite enough. Religion does have much to answer for and if there is a God up there am sure he will issue justice at the appropriate time.

By all means post your poetry. But please stop bashing religion. I am closing this thread as I do not see it beneficial overall.
