Thank you Will, It is indeed a great relief to be back. It just feels so right for us. Like you said, Leamington is a nice town, and if you do decide to move here, I would say that the old part of Whitnash is a lovely area, Nr. Where the old medieval St.Margaret's Church is. It has a very freindly and quiet villige atmosphere here. It is only about 20 minutes walk into town or the station, or by car you are there in 5 minutes.

Leamington may have it's problems with students and a bit of noise, but believe me, it is nothing compared to where we lived in Scotland. Oh, dear , the youths there have a real drinking and drugs problems. It is very sad to see Scotland go like that.
Scotland is very scenic place to visit , but there is little to do for youths and unemployed. It is a shame.
ps. I would like you to let me know if you do ever move to Leamington.

As planned, we moved from Scotland and now living back in Leamington Spa, we've met just about everybody we know already!
Isn't it wonderful to go into town and you always bump into folk you know . It's where we belong!

My son is hopeful to get work again . So we hope everything will fall into place for him too.

Wahey, we are back again!

Thanks Will, I agree, at least we now feel a sense of relief having decided to come back to Warwickshire, at least we know the areas we like.
My son will be looking for work again when he gets back. Which I know isn't easy these days.
We hope to find somewhere to rent , or a retirement flat.
Can you recommend best areas in Stratford? Do you get boy-racers in Stratford ? we have been absolutely plagued with them here, they are a pest at night with the noise they make revving round the town.

Guess what.....we wan't to move back to Warwickshire. Would you believe I am not really happy here in Scotland, even though I am Scottish !, perhaps I have been away too long. We are looking to move to either Warwick , or much preferably Stratford upon Avon.

If I were to be truthful, I am profoundly unhappy here!

Anyway, we must get things underway and sell up.

Hello Will, Its Gladys, I really am a bit of a fossil on how to start new posts and how to get in touch. I posted an thread tonight about 'flat/room to rent' or some such because We are really rather desperate for my son on a short term basis. How do I do this to reach people in the Moreton Morrell area of Warwickshire? I don't really know the geography or that of the forum. Can you help? If so, how do people ring us etc- panicked me ...
