Heritage Open Days

Did anyone go to any of the properties opened to the public during the Heritage Open Days back in September? I had a look around a few of the properties in Stratford & really enjoyed the experience.

I went to St. Mary's hall in Coventry and was so intrigued Ispent all afternoon there.
For once Coventry got it right-from the history of Coventry, the Freemans guild exhibition, and all the history groups stands, to the guides who explained the history of this beautiful building and even it's paintings. They even had a 'medieval' music group complete with authentic instruments.
Iwish I'd had time to see some of the other places.
Maybe next year.

I hope it does bacome an annual event, especially if different buildings take part each year.
