Personally speaking, I don't think there's anything quite like the thrust and parry of good (or bad) repartee and banter. If people have a bee in their bonnet then I can't think of a better place to let it loose online. It's much better than in real life where you get to brandish a knife or wave a chair leg over ones head.
Madhatter believed he had a point to make so why not let him make it? If we think it's gibberish or whatever, remember, in the end we all have a choice. No, for me lets have more of Madhatter's ravings if he should so wish, after all this is a free country and the last thing I want to see on a site like this is a reflection of the real world with its over-the-top disciplines, rules and regulations. This is the Internet and it's different.

Apparently I asked WCC to link to my site and I got refused according to the other town forum. They never have, and I'm sure they'd do a feature on me if I asked. It's mainly due to daft comments like these that I've got my attitude, I never used to be so aggresive on the net. I've been thinking seriously about just stopping coming on these town and area forums altogether, and just going back to brain dead chat rooms full of mwah x x hello babe, how are ya. At least I know they aren't going to be wired up right to start with, I know where I stand.

MH, if you don't like Will's methods here, then why have you continued to use this site? People come on to these boards to discuss things with like minded people. They do not expect to come across a slanging match. I just think you have gone about this whole argument the wrong way. It should have been discussed in a civilised manner.

There's a difference between ranting and raving about events and happenings, and ranting and raving being aimed AT the administrator of this forum. If MadHatter had a problem with Will's methods, his complaints should have been conducted via the Private Messaging facility of these boards, NOT in public.

Steve, that was last week, it's chip wrappers now. I'm on about something another site is claiming. another site claimed I'd asked Wcc to link to me and that they refused which is nonsense, but all started from what happened here.
Send three and four pence I'm going to a dance.

I also don't see it as rantings and ravings I see it as heated debate. If it had been kept to pm it wouldn't have got resolved.
