Welcome AO, I would be more then happy to add your feed to the forums, more then happy in fact as I've been struggling to find some good ones.

On the SEO thing, you're right it is a dark art and there are most definately many aguments for different methods. My understanding as far as the age of websites is, that it will always maintain a certain pagerank, but just aging will not increase PR, unless the site gets updated, and even then as you said it has only a minor role in factoring it. But I'll leave it there as I don't want to get tempted into an SEO debate.

I also stand by what i've written on there, it's factual and acurate.
I Used A online purely as an example, I wouldn't involve them with anything through choice. I still wouldn't delete a link to them though no matter how much I dislike the site. Atherstone Organised is an excellent site, a true credit to the town. At least you'll have something on North Warwickshire on here to discuss now.
There's no point bothering with infraction will, I've had plenty on other sites for standing up for what I believe in. You could ban me too, but then I could just change ip's and sign back up. You could work with me, but I know you won't.
Tell you what. As Ath Org has offered to do that, I'll back track, I'll post some pics, and a direct link link to the images site which is seperate to the forum, I'll stick around to add comments to the feeds and even add a link to ath forum.

Enough is enough. Madhatter, it's time to stop pushing the envelope. You are behaving as a spoilt child that can't have it's own way. Playing sillies is one thing but there are times to show a bit of maturity and act in an adult fashion which means knowing when to "give it a rest" and stop willy waving as you are with regard to your "I've got more content than you" type comment, it isn't always the quantity of something that is important but the *quality* of the content.

I have no wish to see an infraction issued to anyone. You have presented your case but the answer is still the same. Please abide by the rules. - Then we can all go for a pint.

In short, an infraction definately isn't a positive thing.

Infractions work on points, you can give different infradtions for different things. I suspect a yellow card gives points, a red card may give more points or a ban. Depends on how its set up. you can also give a reason for the infraction 3 points for arguing 4 for abusing staff. so many points results in a short term ban.
Does nothing for the moral of a site really, jsut causes more arguments complications and vendetas such as we have on talk britain with member solaris.

This is going way past stupid now. This is a site for the benefit of ALL people of Coventry & Warwickshire, not a place for petty mud-slinging. Get over it & move on.
It makes me angry when things like this happen - I've seen it on other forums & it ruined the whole thing.
Will has done a lot of hard work on this site, and I for 1 don't want to see it wrecked. If anyone doesn't like what they see here, they know where the door is; it's not a site for squabbling
