Despite the recent bad weather, GG is still going ahead, as the organizers are confident that the roads needed to get to the site were unaffected.

I have a friend who lives very close to the site, and he disagrees as he was unable to get to work from there during the floods. With the weather set to get worse again, I hope they aren't saying this just to get people there. The floods are bad enough without causing gridlock and leaving 50,000 people stranded.

Hopefully they're right, it would be a real shame for all the people going.
