Meeting New People

Does anyone know of any clubs/groups in the area to meet new people? I am new to the area and really dont know where to start.

BTW - Not looking for a singles club!

I'd say here is a good start, but you've already taken that step. What are your interests? I have quite a few local groups in the 'Warwickshire Links' section, see if there's anything there which may be of interest to you.

Looking for more social and sport activities rather than particular hobbies.

NP, I assume you've checked out the sports links section too? There's quite a few there and some are reasonably close to, if not in warwick.

Scuba Diving? Sailing? Any particular sport you had in mind? I rather fancy the idea of bee keeping, but dont have the land

Cycling group would be ideal but prefer something a quite slow paced...or walking. Also quite keen to try something new.....used to do dragon boating but not sure if there is such a thing around here??

There used to be a cyclists touring club in Warwickshire, I wonder if they're still going.

I asked the all knowledgeable Mr Google to see if he knew. It is a 20th Century style of treasure hunt. Wikipedia says:
