Is Compton Verney any good?

I've been thinking about going to the art gallery at Compton Verney; does anyone know if it's any good? Is it just the art gallery there, or are there other things to see/do?

they have outdoor concerts and stuff there in the summer which are supposed to be very good, but i havent been. i think theres a proms themed event coming up, complete with a flypast of a spitfire...

Thanks Chillit. I've just found out there's a Van Gough exhibition running a the moment; but will have finished by the time I get round to visiting. I might have a wonder over there anyway.
