The Butts

A large development is planned for "The Butts" - the college site next to the Rugby Ground is going to redeveloped. The old College Building will remain, along with the theatre, and be turned into a mix of bars/restaurants and offices.

On the car park and remaining land, it looks like a mix of apartments (500 of them) and a large office block (14 storeys high) with car parking. Apartment blocks along Albany Road will be 5 storeys high and the blocks behind these range from 8 to 11 storeys.

There's also another tower planned alongside the "Ramada" hotel.
