Where did the weekend go?

Friday arrived and now it is Sunday again... must be nearly time to get the Christmas tree and decorations down again which means that not only has the weekend whooshed by but seemingly the entire year as well as it only seems a short time ago that I took the tree down.

It's scary how time seems to contract as on gets older (time between Christmases seem to stretch out for ever when I was a kid!); it only seems to be a couple of weeks since I was enjoying our late summer.

Didn't Einstein have something to say about this??
