I'm a bit ambivalent about nuclear power - it produces less CO2, but there's a lot of toxic waste & can go VERY wrong. Nuclear fusion looks a better option, but that's still decades off.

For many years I've thought this a possible option. We power submarines this way so why not housing estates or even individual houses?
