Leamington is generally decent town, unless you venture south of the High Street!

I worked out of Leamington for a while. I always found it pleasant and the people friendly.

As far as affordable properties , they can actually be found, some flats on lower end of the market going from £99,000, £130.000 and up to £170.000, I'm sure a working man or couple could afford a reasonable small mortgage on those prices. Some may be in need of re-modernizing, some in North Leam and some South Leam. Its there if they look.

Well, everywhere has its dodgy areas at night. South Leamington not too bad, but you do hear of the odd disturbances. I can't say quite how bad as I don't know that area at the best of times or at night. I remember a polish guy got drowned in the river in a drunken fight. Poor guy. That river has claimed a lot of lives.

I lived in Leamington when I was nursing at Warneford.
I lived in the so called posh area , then I lodged downtown, so - called dodgy.I loved it.
People were friendlier there too.I lived for 2 years in the top end and hardly saw my neighbours.

I'm a bit of a closet snob, so the 'top end' of town has a bit more of a draw for me! :o

Yes, and why not? it is a very desirable area. Have you seen Beverly Road area? Milverton is nice too.
