View Full Version : Wedding Protest in Sikh Temple
I kind of see the protesters' point, but this sort of attitude doesn't do community relations any favours: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-37336623

I think when we see how many are to face the courts we'll have a better idea of community relations and fairness.
Accepting I only know what I've read, charges of aggravated trespass seem rather lenient. - I'd bet if it were me I'd be charged with something far more serious, and not released on bail quite so easily.
I have a couple of issues with the statement. The police had to respond to the fact that people were potentially carrying dangerous weapons, and the response was proportional to that; and the first thought that came into my head was that the poor couple have had their day well and truly ruined by these (mostly) kids.
