MEDICS have confirmed that two men suffered stab wounds in a major incident in Nuneaton.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told the News that one of the victims, who has not been identified, suffered a cardiac arrest following the incident in Pool Bank Street last night (Saturday, October 31).
"Crews arrived to find two men suffering from stab wounds," the spokesperson said.
“One of the men was found to be in cardiac arrest. He was given advanced life support and crews successfully managed to restart his heart.
“A second man was also treated for his injuries before both patients were transported to hospital for further assessment.”
The recreation ground and parts of Bottrill Street remain taped off this morning.
At the time of publication, no details had been made available by Warwickshire Police but it is understood that an investigation is ongoing.
