I've been visiting the Marketplace museum occasionally for 25-odd years, and have been thinking for a while that it could do with an update; I'll follow this with interest: http://www.rugbyadvertiser.co.uk/news/local-news/warwickshire-museum-to-re-launch-as-cultural-gateway-1-6792411

I love museums, though it's been a while since I've been to that particular one.

We need to preserve the past so this really is good news.

I'm a big museum fan too - almost to the point of being OCD about looking at every item on display!

When I used to have my kids at the weekend we spent hours in museums. Even today the daughter can't walk past one.

I think Nuneaton Museum was one of their favourites, whilst Cosford air museum was mine.

I can't wait for the museum to reopen...

That is a good idea. I've seen pubs and cafes do this quite successfully in the past.

It's definitely good thing for both the museum (being short of cash nowadays, and taking a commission),and the artists (somewhere to show/sell their work).
