Frankly, I'd use the terrorism laws against them and bang them up for 20 years (minimum) without any chance of parole.

I really can't understand the stupidity of these people.

That might be a good option Rebbonk, but thinking about the average IQ of those that do this kind of thing, going to prison might not act as much of a deterrent.

Perhaps termination ought be thought about? These morons are never going to be any use to society, putting them down would possibly the best option.

There are very few legitimate uses for these pointers. - I used to use one as an engineer and as a lecturer, but outside those spheres I've never had cause to need one.
