Anyone who thinks we're out of the woods yet needs their head examining!

Good luck to Brose, but I'll bet it'll be very short term.

Nowhere near the edge of the woods yet, but things are slowly going in the right direction.

The number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance in April fell by 25,100 to 1.12 million.

The key word here is claiming. Job-centres are doing all they can to move people around, even to sanction them. many people have been forced to take zero hours contracts, which also stops them claiming JSA.

Sorry, I trust nothing that Camoron or his lying cabinet say. (And I would believe Miliband either!) What I will believe though is my own eyes, and I see very little that convinces me we are out of the woods yet.

I know they have an axe to grind, but I think I'm in broad agreement with them

Sorry Lex, I don't trust the BBC and today's figures raise rather a lot of questions to my mind. I'm simply not seeing any improvement with my own eyes.

The real reason why jobless figures are down?

That is a lot of people that aren't appearing on the 'official' figures.
