This is a very sad story but it holds a vital message that all girls who are ' active ' should have regular smears from the beginning they become so. We need to promote smear testing in the UK from 16 at the least. My daughter lives and works in Bulgaria and the Doctor there was horrified to hear the UK doesn't do them until a girl is 24 years old. In Bulgaria girls have PAP tests every 6 months. It is something we must address so Please sign the e-petition and pass it to your friends to do so as well. Gentlemen , you too can sign it but please urge your wives, girlfriends and daughters to do the same but to make sure they have regular smears.
