It's a shame that Coventry will be losing its 50 meter pool, but at least there's one in Northampton and there's plans for more in the region...

Once again the idiots on the local council are spending money without thinking things through. They've just spent plenty on a new centre at AT7, jobs are being lost, we simply cannot afford these things. Just as we couldn't afford Muttons patio!

I've said it before, if ars*hol*s could fly! Coventry council house would be an airport.

The pool's definitely closing. Those who wat access to a 50m pool will have to wait until sometime in 2016 for another one to open in Brum, or travel to Northampton.

I repeat my previous comment about ars*hol*s and being an airport! - Well done CCC you have proven just how inept and out of touch you really are!

I hope so.

I wonder what will happen to the old facility? as far as I know, it's listed, though the elephant to the side isn't.
