This is awful on so many levels. I speak from my personal feelings on this so i expect other people may not agree which is their right. We do not need to eat horses or donkeys, I cannot accept the slaughter of them for our consumption. We should be managing their breeding and welfare better instead. The slaughter of Dogs for human consumption is largely illegal although, Korea eats Dogs as an accepted delicacy all of which is totally out of order in my view. I hope Walmart steps up its investigation into their meat production plants because before long we may find such products here. That is a simply horrible thought.

This is in the DM today- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2652878/Blood-offal-illegally-mixed-meat-products-sold-supermarkets-British-high-streets.html

If anything, it proves that it is better to make your own where ever possible. Where you can't as in making sausages for example, its best to buy from a reputable source like the good old butcher' shop.

Did you ever see Alex Riley's disgusting food series? - The interesting thing was that the more 'awful' the ingredients he used, the more people liked it. The sausages and burgers were a treat to see!

The programmes might be available on youtube?
